Steeling Art got its start on Valentine's Day. The artist, having been hard at work repairing a diesel engine that day, forgot to pick up any token of love for his beautiful bride. Using just the scraps and tools he had laying around, he created what is now Steeling Art #001, and the rest is history.
Individually Crafted
Each Steeling Art piece is hand-crafted from mild steel, and sealed with a protective coating to maintain its finish. Each is individually numbered and has unique characteristics that are sure to catch the eye of friends and family. There are many designs and variations, in all sorts of sizes. Most sculptures are 10-14 inches tall and are mounted to a 5x5 metal base. The base features felt feet to prevent scratches on all surfaces. Sculptures can be ordered with the polished or pewter finish, a darker less reflective look. Each design is available in the mini, standard, and large size. The number of blooms can be specified, along with any other special request.
Commissioned Pieces
In addition to his own unique designs, the artist will work with clients to create hand-sculpted pieces based on their own ideas or designs. Email sketches, pictures or general ideas to vince@steelingart.com, and he will work with you to develop an estimate of both time and price.
